Complex Trauma Part II: Working with Resistance and Managing Risk

September 15, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Expanding our collective knowledge on how to work with clients who have experienced Complex Trauma and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) is integral to the field of trauma-specific therapy. It is not enough to know that trauma impacts someone’s life; clinicians must strive to adapt practices that support clients to address and heal from trauma exposures. This training will equip participants to tailor their practices to set and implement boundaries, assess and manage risk, implement harm reduction principals and identify treatment modalities for success. This training uses brain-based research, videos, clinical case examples, discussion and expects attendees to participate in group discussions.
